Cost Analysis
So critical in this “New Economy”, Cost Analysis will make the difference between making a profit or not. What are you best products, who are your best Customers. You think you know, but do you? Let the Cost Calculator show you.
- Actual Recent Costs: A calculated cost, which takes the average of the actual costs over a user specified time period. If this is a manufactured part, then full BOM and Routing are analyzed, at all levels, and the actual costs are rolled up. The user has the ability to trim abnormalities out of the calculation.
- Profitability Reporting: Easily view Profitability by Customer, Part, Product Class and more. Profitability can be based on your M2M Costs (Standard or Average Estimate) or the Actual Recent Costs.
- Cost of Goods Sold: See your COGS by Customer, Part, Product Class and more. Date sensitive reporting allows you to determine the reporting period. Easily filter to show just what Shipped or Invoiced last month. Drill down to the actual job costs.
- Job Cost Reporting: Analyze the Cost of a Part (or like-Part) over time. Filter for a specific Customer, Class, Group, Status and more. Visibility to all Detail Job Transactions for any Job is available at the click of the mouse.

Most companies struggle with knowing how good their Standard Costs are. Many result to performing rollups too often, at best it seems like blind faith. - Compare the Standard Cost of an item to its Rolled Actual Recent Costs (Actual Costs over a user specified time period).
- Full Drill-Down into the Indented BOM comparing the Rolled Standard against the Rolled Actual Recent Costs.
- Routing Analysis compares your Standard Routing against the Actual Labor Transactions for each operation for a specific time period.
- Compare the Average times for a period to the Standard.
